Bebop Jeans

This is a fashion wear called Bebop Jeans.

I personally liked the layout of the website is because i find it interesting, interactive and very famine. As this is obviously targeted for the female audience, the designer has chosen pastel colour as the background with matching pink and brown which is soft to the eyes and not too striking. It also has really cool flower symbols around the girl with her hair being designed to an extension of art peachy circles. However, I find that this page is a little too cluttered with the two birds hanging on the girl and a sudden brown ‘B’ below the left hand corner (with a butterfly flying over it). It makes the viewer’s attention being focus also on the sun on the left hand corner and the Huge ‘B’ on the left hand corner. I felt that the designer is trying to create a page with two theme colour which is the pastel peachy pink on the top and the dark brown in the bottom which makes the whole page looks a bit messy. I think that it can be touch up by taking out some of the designs to make it look clean and less cluttered. Even though when you first look at the web page, you’ll be able to know that it is a fashion website, however it is a little hard to look for the other links as it is quite small on the top left corner. When you are a frequent user in this web page, you will also be able to find out that the links(home, products, store locator, press, fun and register) also can be found in the graphics around the girl. For example the press link is i the brown heart on the pink flower, the fun link is the pink blotch on the girls pants and lots more.

I notice also that when you click the different links, the link page also have different colour theme to it. For example the store locator link has an orange theme to it:

Even though it change the colour of the layout, but the designer of this page still keeps the flower design on the top of the page.When i click the link for the products, it changes the page to a green coloured theme with an animation first than the page.

In the product page, its theme is pastel green colour whereby they still maintain the Flowers design and the bird. However the user may not like this page as it does not provide the full details of the dress (i.e. size and price).

But what i learn from this website is that in my website i should not try to put too much things in the website or not it may look very cluttered. This website have really unique symbols, birds and design of the flowers and patterns. however they try to put everything in a page that makes the whole page looked very cluttered even though they have good combination of colours. They should also provide more information of the products (i.e. price and company) as they didn’t put much of  those information in it.

One of the website which is a must for me to visit every moment i log on the Internet is Netvibes

What i like of this website is that it enables me to log on to the website that i would like to visit without having to open allot of tabs in mozilla. Furthermore whenever a website gets updated or whenever i receive a mail it will automatically update in my Netvibes.

It also allows me to read the updated blogs and websites without having to go to its website as i can view it from the netvibes.

It also allows me to change the layout of my own netvibes in the settings into any colour i want for example i can change it to purple

or red

Furthermore the layout of the whole netvibes is simple and organise, i guess the creator have to make it such a way that  it would be easier for people to organise alot of information in one page. It is also flexible enought that the user have a choice on where they want thier application to be, you can easily move it around. You can also add applications like games, comics, news feeds and lots more into your netvibes page.
